Our Faith Story
Lead by Grace, Tradition, & love
This hand-drawn sketch of St. Bernard Catholic Church was created by my daughter Ella as a school art project. Through her drawing, she beautifully captured the church that has helped shape our family’s faith.
It is the inspiration for our logo and book covers. What a blessing it is to be able to share her God given gifts with our readers.
Hi, I’m Karen Dupont.
I am a wife, a mother of three, an educator, and a woman continually learning to trust God more each day. My husband and children are the greatest blessings in my life, and our family is where my faith is lived out daily in the ordinary moments of joy, laughter, and even challenges.
Growing up in South Louisiana, my Cajun heritage has always been deeply tied to the Catholic faith. Faith, family, food, and tradition are the foundation of who I am.
My journey of faith is not perfect. I am still growing, still learning, and still striving to become the woman God created me to be.
Like many women, my journey is being shaped by seasons of growth, waiting, doubt, prayer, and grace. Through those seasons, I am discovering that faith is something we build slowly, day by day, often through our imperfections.
Catholic Roots grew from a desire to help women and families stay grounded in what matters most—a life rooted in Christ. A life not defined by perfection, but by grace, where even in our mistakes and messiness, God meets us right where we are.
Built on generations of faith, family, and tradition. Where we live our truth and tell our stories.
